An ideal candidate would thrive in a multi-faceted role. Key responsibilities include designing, prototyping, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on the Akamai Cloud platform

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing of applications across various programming environments such as Scala, Python, GO
• Deploying and overseeing applications in both public and private cloud environments
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to develop software applications, test plans, and strategies
• Experiencing of leading a project from concept to productization
• Leading the team technically on SDLC best practices with focus on automation

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field & 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate experience designing, developing, or maintaining multi-tier distributed application architectures including cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud.
• Have the knowledge of CNCF landscape to identify optimal solutions for various challenges
• Be a good team player that enjoys collaborating and solving problems with others
• Demonstrate experience collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document compliance workflow and operational requirements
• Able to communicate effectively, both in written and verbal form
