Our International Tax Team supports Akamai's global operations with compliance, reporting, and advisory across 40 countries. We identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and collaborating with top-tier external tax service providers to drive continuous improvement.

Partner with the best

This role involves navigating international tax complexities and supporting local and global compliance initiatives. You will collaborate with skilled teams and external partners to advise Akamai's leadership while managing diverse tax areas independently.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Managing relationships with external tax service providers, including handling request lists, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring compliance.
• Developing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and work papers to support tax compliance and reporting.
• Analyzing accounts and performing reconciliations, ensuring accurate income tax reporting.
• Researching and interpreting local tax regulations, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Collaborating with finance teams, providing expert guidance on income tax matters and aligning tax strategies with financial operations.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in income tax compliance in a multinational environment.
• Have understanding of accounting principles and working knowledge of transfer pricing.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Have analytical mindset, with the ability to provide data-driven insights.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Be able to create clear, concise documentation and work papers.
• Have time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Have ethical mindset and personal integrity, aligned with Akamai's values.
