About the RoleÂ
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Cloud team in Lithuania.Â
The Core Cloud team is a platform engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and operating the backend systems that manage CUJO AI Agent fleets, which protect the home networks of our customers. These systems are built to handle tens of millions of agents, ensuring robust and scalable management. Additionally, the Core Cloud team plays a crucial role in enabling the development of other CUJO AI products.Â
The compensation package is from 5000 EUR to 6000 EUR (gross), depending on your experience.Â
In This Role, You Will:Â
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features.Â
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices.Â
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.Â
- Take ownership of the work delivered, adopt “You build it, you run it” mentality.Â
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable safe and reliable deployments.Â
- Implement observability into the systems by instrumenting code to collect metrics and configuring service monitoring & alerting. Â
- Contribute to the company-wide practices in how we build secure, scalable, robust and cost-efficient backend systems.Â
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:Â
- 5+ years of experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.Â
- Experience in working with databases: Amazon RDS (Aurora PostgreSQL) & DynamoDB.Â
- Experience in working with AWS Stack (e.g. ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, SSM ParameterStore, SecretsManager, MSK, CloudWatch, IAM)Â
- Experience in using auto-scaling and building self-healing and resilient distributed systems.Â
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, …)Â
- Experience with IaaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, …)Â
- Experience with tools such as Git and DockerÂ
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies.Â
- Experience building observability into systems, performance optimization and advanced troubleshooting.Â
- Documentation skills (technical designs, integration guides).Â
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for effective communication with our international team.Â

- Experience with other programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Go.Â
- Passion for secure software development and engineering.Â
- Experience in operating large-scale systems with high data volumes.Â
- Experience in serverless architecture and development.Â
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting business-critical production systems under heavy loads.Â
- Cost awareness and understanding how to monitor costs, analyze existing systems cost structure and make suggestions for more cost-effective use of public cloud.Â
- Experience working with multinational teams across different physical sites.Â
