What we do:
Halcyon is the industry’s first dedicated, adaptive security platform that combines multiple proprietary advanced prevention engines along with AI models focused specifically on stopping ransomware.

Who we are:

Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

As a remote-native, completely distributed global team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we'll work a plan to meet your needs.

  • Data Visualization: Translate complex telemetry—alerts, events, etc—into clear charts, tables, and visual cues that accelerate user insight and action.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with PMs, engineers, security analysts, brand and marketing to ship intentional and accessible designs on time.

  • Continuous Improvement: analyze user behaviour, and iterate quickly in our fast‑paced, startup environment incorporating customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into designs.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Confident and comfortable designing for complex workflows: RBAC, dashboards, policy engines, APIs.

  • Strong grasp of and modern front‑end patterns.

  • Excellent communication skills—you can defend design decisions with data and user insights while presenting design work with teammates, to partners and stakeholders for review and feedback.

  • Thrives in a high‑growth startup: self‑directed, decisive, and bias‑to‑action.

  • Experience with security or observability dashboards (alerts, timelines, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).
