About Credo AI

Credo AI is a venture-backed company on a mission to empower organizations to responsibly build, adopt, procure and use AI at scale.  Credo AI has built a pioneering platform for context-driven AI governance, AI risk assessment and compliance (to regulations like the EU AI Act and standards like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 etc) to ensure compliant, fair, and auditable development and use of AI. Our goal is to move responsible AI development from an “ethical” choice to an obvious one-by ensuring AI’s benefits are universally accessible while addressing the full spectrum of its risks. We aim to do this both by making it easier for organizations to integrate  responsible AI Governance  practices into their AI development and by collaborating with regulators/policymakers to set up appropriate ecosystem incentives. Founded in 2020, Credo AI has been recognized as a one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2024 by Fast Company, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, named to the CBInsights' AI 100 List and World's Most Promising Startups list, and included in Fast Company’s Next Big Thing in Tech and Intelligent Applications Top 40 by Madrona, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Pitchbook.

About the Role

Credo AI is on a mission to empower organizations to build AI with the highest ethical standards. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of AI governance software. You’ll take ownership of key product areas—whether related to governance content, workflows, data integrations, or user experience—and work cross-functionally to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver high-impact features that enable our customers to govern AI systems with confidence.

You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, AI Research, Customer Success, and GTM teams to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into scalable, intuitive product solutions. We're looking for someone who is comfortable in ambiguity, energized by building in an emerging space, and passionate about shaping how AI is responsibly adopted across industries.

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and prioritizing a product roadmap aligned to business objectives and customer needs across one of our key product workstreams: workflows, GRC content, and integrations.

  • Conduct customer and market research to uncover pain points, validate product opportunities, and shape product direction.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Research to define and deliver high-quality features, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Define and track success metrics for your product area; use product analytics and customer feedback to inform decisions and iterate on solutions.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to communicate your product’s value to internal and external audiences.

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, helping the team maintain a user-first mindset while balancing technical, regulatory, and business constraints.

A great candidate…

  • Has 6 - 8 years of experience in product management for enterprise SaaS, especially in domains like GRC, compliance, security, or AI.

  • Has experience owning end-to-end feature development—from user research through to delivery—for content-heavy or configuration-driven products.

  • Is an excellent communicator, skilled at driving clarity in complex, ambiguous problem spaces and aligning multiple stakeholders toward a clear product vision.

  • Has strong customer empathy and a track record of incorporating user feedback into successful products.

  • Is data-savvy, with experience defining KPIs and using product analytics tools (e.g., Heap, Fullstory, Amplitude).

  • AI fluency or willingness to learn is a requirement.

Even better if…

  • You have experience building B2B governance, risk, compliance, or security platforms.

  • You’ve worked with regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, government) or on regulatory compliance-related products.

  • You have experience working with AI governance frameworks like ISO 42001 and the NIST AI RMF or AI regulatory requirements such as the EU AI Act.

  • You’ve worked in a startup environment and are comfortable with ambiguity, speed, and evolving priorities.
