About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team. You'll work closely with the co-founders and a small, high-caliber engineering team to design, build, and scale core product features. Your work will span a range of technical challenges, including applying machine learning techniques to improve system intelligence and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the leadership to develop and implement full stack projects 
• Design and implement APIs using NodeJS
• Work with multimodal models and embedding-based systems, including building and leveraging vector representations of text, images, or other data types to support search, recommendation, or classification use cases.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and Redux 
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of the platform 
• Create and optimize data pipelines and internal tooling, including designing and maintaining ETL processes
• Deploy production-ready projects on AWS using containerization, ALB, and ECS 
• Monitor platform performance and implement necessary improvements 
• Maintain a high standard of code quality and structure

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Deep understanding of JavaScript language nuances and best practices
• Intermediate knowledge of UI design, including SCSS and animations
• Experience deploying production-ready projects on AWS, including containerization, ALB, and ECS
• Familiarity with logging and alerting using CloudWatch or alternative monitoring technologies
• Keen attention to detail in code structure and style
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript-based languages
• 3+ years of experience developing APIs in NodeJS
