As a Data & AI consultant in our Canberra team, you will help us drive data strategy, analytics, and AI solutions to solve complex business problems for our clients.
What will your typical day look like?
Client Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
Problem-solving: Solve AI & data challenges at scale using your problem-solving skills to truly understand the issues our clients are facing.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and ensure our solutions align with business objectives.
Analytics: Deliver insights from disparate data sources through the application of analytics, data mining, and real-time decision-making techniques and applications.
Presentation: Work to present data in meaningful ways to our clients, using latest dashboarding and visualisation technologies.
Data governance: Use robust frameworks for governance and quality to support our clients.

Our diverse AI & Data team comprises over 500 specialist practitioners across Australia, each of whom are constantly curious and excited about combining their business acumen and technological expertise to create data-centric solutions that help solve complex problems and transform or reinvent our client’s business.
Our relationships with market leading vendors such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Snowflake, Salesforce, and Informatica enable our practitioners to be at the forefront of new and emerging capabilities and to deliver our suite of services at scale. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
An eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in AI & Data consulting.
Strong communication, interpersonal and client skills.
Comfortable working in a flexible and dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
Strong grasp of AI & Data fundamentals, with a natural curiosity and interest in the field
Ability to conceptualise solutions, clearly articulate delivery approach and designs
Experience contributing to and delivering the content, structure and review of presentations, documents and other stakeholder/client-facing materials.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a technical solution.
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Additional/desired skills or experiences:
Experience developing data visualisations solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker etc.
Public sector experience is highly desired.
Technical certifications will be highly regarded.
Experience participating in stakeholder discussions, development and delivery of AI & Data solutions
Knowledge of data capabilities across a variety of technology vendors and cloud platforms.
Strong grasp of data fundamentals, preferably with experience with databases, data warehouses, data lakes and other storage solutions.
