Our compensation package: €70,000 - €75,000 in yearly salary, €20,000 - €40,000 in equity. Additionally up to €5,000 p.a. in company benefits

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Orbem's growth by identifying, evaluating, and securing opportunities in new markets. You will conduct in-depth market analysis, lead market entry initiatives, build and nurture key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally within Orbem to create and act upon new opportunities for growth.
You will be focussing on the following areas:
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform decision-making
Generate inroads into new markets to quickly validate ideas and hypotheses
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive market entry strategies for new industries and regions
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target industries, including potential customers and decision-makers
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with imaging and product teams to ensure alignment and successful execution during the evaluation and launch of new opportunities.
Industry Presence:
Represent Orbem at industry events, conferences and trade shows, showcasing our technology and generating new ideas

Growth mindset
You have 3+ years of experience in a fast paced environment (consulting, PE, investment banking, business development) with a demonstrated track record of identifying and creating new business opportunities
You have the ability to think strategically, analyze complex market dynamics, and develop actionable plans to achieve business objectives
You are curious to dive deep into new markets within food, healthcare and beyond
You find creative ways to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders
Effective communication
You have experience working with customers in food, agriculture or healthcare
You are fluent in German and English, with additional languages being a big plus
You have previous experience in international business environments
