We are now seeking to hire a Senior Associate, Corporate Finance based in the US. The key purpose of the Senior Associate, Corporate Finance is to work with our CEO in completing a successful fundraisings. S/he will report to the CEO and also to the CFO, and is expected to be able to balance the demands of both, and to be a flexible and impactful hire with a range of responsibilities.
The Senior Associate, Corporate Finance will be responsible for managing the investor database, preparing meeting materials, briefing the CEO on potential investors, and conducting research in order to make each meeting impactful. S/he will also join the CEO on calls / accompany her to meetings, when needed, and will be responsible for managing following up, supporting due diligence inquiries and coordinating with other executive team members as necessary. He or she will also build and update investor decks, help develop and maintain financial models and generally provide strategic finance support across all facets of our business. S/he will also engage with our existing Board members, and provide timely updates for communications in line with the company’s strategic goals.
Role responsibilities
Pitch Development: Support the CEO and leadership team to craft bespoke and sophisticated investor materials (e.g., pitch decks, financial models, term sheets) for a demanding audience of venture-capitalists.
Investor Relations: Act as the primary contact point for existing investors and board members, delivering clear updates on company progress, financials, and strategic milestones
Funding Engagement: Engage investors consistently throughout the funding process, from interest generation to due diligence and closure.
Coordinate across the leadership team to gather the appropriate information to build the case for investment in Venti. Focus on building compelling narratives and supporting the CEO in her outreach.
Required experience
Bachelor’s degree from recognized institution (MBA an advantage).
4+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting or private equity, with a focus on capital markets, M&A, or equity financing. Further experience gained in a start-up environment preferred.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong financial acumen, including experience in modelling, valuation, and structuring investment deals (e.g., SAFE notes, convertible debt).
