Plus is building a cutting-edge process to recreate the world as seen from our fleet of autonomous vehicles. We’re looking for a highly motivated person eager to apply the latest research to the real world. The last few years have had an explosion of new ideas about 3D reconstruction–NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, generative diffusion models–and we’re putting them into practice. You’ll help build an adaptable digital version of the physical world to improve the safety and reliability of our autonomous vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Assist in development of a cutting-edge 3D reconstruction system for autonomous vehicle simulation and testing
Combine current research with software development, and test on real-world data
Required Skills:
Pursuing MS or PhD in CS, EE, mathematics, statistics or related field
Proficient in Python programming
Experience with computational geometry: 3D computer vision, reconstruction, or computer graphics
Preferred Skills:
C++ programming, CUDA or GPU programming
Research experience in 3D reconstruction: Structure from Motion, SLAM, NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, or learning-based mesh generation.
