Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings):
Product Manager. Promote Akamai cloud products and position Akamai to provide a set of highly differentiated solutions in the market. Develop and bring-to-market cloud infrastructure products and services. Gather, document, and communicate business and technical requirements. Execute product strategy, roadmap, and delivery against product plan. Analyze operational metrics and trends to track and maximize product KPIs, revenue, and profitability. Synthesize feedback and prioritize development. Research comparative services and identify opportunities for differentiation. Build relationships with cross-functional product teams including sales and marketing to launch products. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.[AG1156]

Required Qualification:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role. Must have: Three (3) years of experience with the following: writing technical/functional specifications and requirements; experience journey mapping; product roadmaps; data analysis and visualization; producing product requirement documents; creating wireframes or prototypes of technical products; competitive analysis; customer relationship management; and product development lifecycle.

Alternately, employer will accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role. Must have: Three (3) years of experience with the following: writing technical/functional specifications and requirements; experience journey mapping; product roadmaps; data analysis and visualization; producing product requirement documents; creating wireframes or prototypes of technical products; competitive analysis; customer relationship management; and product development lifecycle.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $134098 - $226100; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
