WHO
we’re looking for:
We are
looking for a Lead Manager Data Scientist with an innovative mindset and technical skillset to join our growing team at a Fortune 100 manufacturing client and work as part of the client delivery team employing the delivering business insights. As the AI/ML and Gen AI space matures, WorldLink's Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning services are ready to assist clients in discovering insights through Gen AI, AI/ML, and Optimization techniques in answering data-driven questions through visualization and developing profitable business growth perspectives leveraging their data assets.
Role
and Responsibilities:
Independently conduct research and development efforts (prototypes, proof of concepts, and production/operational initiatives).
Conceptualize, design, and develop advanced analytics & machine learning and Optimization solutions that incorporate complex data into actionable insights and prescriptive models.
Help with developing best practices for machine learning algorithms presentation, sharing insights, and recommending business strategies that leverage the algorithms.
Collaborate with data engineers, data visualization specialists, application developers, and our clients to understand their challenges and help craft solutions that solve their toughest, most critical problems.
Required Experience and Education:
6-10 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field is preferred.
Must have hands-on experience in predictive analytics and statistical tools, machine learning algorithms, and big data tools.
Must have hands-on experience with Optimization models (Linear Programming) and associated tool sets (Optimizers: Gurobi, CPLEX, GLPK)
Must be able to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using various regression, classification, or clustering ML approaches.
Good familiarity with classic ML approaches. NLP exposure & Deep Learning proficiency.
Must have current Python programming experience.
Experience with operationalizing ML algorithms into production business processes: e.g., experience with containerization (such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift), competency with MLOps tools (such as Kubeflow, MLflow).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an eye for aesthetic design.
Willingness to facilitate requirements gathering/analysis workshops.
A strong work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
Ability to manage time and work independently to complete tasks.
Ability to build consensus with business partners and mediate when appropriate.
Excellent analytical, research, critical thinking, organizational, and planning skills.

management deadlines. May require working additional time
beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
