Meta is seeking a talented technology transactions attorney to work on our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Partnerships legal team. This role's primary function is to support a broad range of technology transactions focused on Meta’s AI research, products and services. You will join a growing team of technology deal lawyers working on fast-paced and exciting projects.The specific areas of focus and responsibilities will change based on company priorities, new legal issues and the regulatory and competitive ecosystem.Lead Counsel, AI Partnerships ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice and day-to-day support to internal stakeholders.Serve as subject matter expert on artificial intelligence technology transactions.Draft, negotiate and close artificial intelligence transactions of various complexity.Actively participate on cross-functional teams.Minimum QualificationsJ.D. degree (or foreign equivalent)Active membership in at least one US state bar and eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status (if required by the State Bar in the assigned work location)5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, including at a law firm and/or in-houseDemonstrate business judgment and client counseling experienceExperience drafting complex technology licensing agreements and technology transaction counseling experienceEffective communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working proactively, independently and reliably under tight timelines in a fast-paced environmentExperience collaborating at all levels of the business across functions, including leadership and C-suiteExperience working on AI transactions For those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click here for additional information.
