About your role: Reporting to our Accounts Payable Officer, as the Junior Accounts Payable Officer you will be an integral member of the team, responsible for Accounts Payable related duties for the group while supporting operational activities throughout the organisation. This includes processing invoices, reviewing expense claim reimbursements and credit card transactions and managing relationships within the Harrison.ai group.
What you'll do:
Ensure invoices for the Harrison.ai group have been uploaded to Prospend within 24 hours of receipt and are coded correctly,
Ensure expense claim reimbursements and credit card transactions for the Harrison.ai group have been coded correctly; adequate support has been attached by the user and are finalised and paid within required timeframes,
Maintenance of the AP and Expense Claim mailboxes, ensuring all emails are actioned swiftly and actioned emails are filed accordingly,
Assist the Accounts Payable Officer follow up approvals of invoices, expense reimbursements and credit card transactions to ensure payments are processed within required timeframes,
Provide new vendor details to the Accounts Payable Officer who will manage new vendor setups in Netsuite,
Assist the Accounts Payable Officer in preparing the weekly AP Payment funding request,
Assist the Accounts Payable Officer in preparing the weekly AP Payment run in Netsuite and HSBC/CBA, as well as following up approvals for the Harrison.ai group,
Preparation of process documents for all AP related tasks,
Support the Finance team with any administrative tasks,
Work with and support the Finance team in any finance driven initiatives and future projects, and
Support and initiate continuous process improvement.
What you bring:
Minimum 1 year experience in an AP related role,
Knowledge of handling multi-currency invoices from international vendors,
Exposure to global taxation – GST, TDS, VAT etc,
Ability to work autonomously, and
Strong focus on compliance.
Nice to have:
Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment and B2B business,
Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous rapidly changing environment under tight deadlines,
Assisting in the implementation of a new ERP systems is a bonus but not required, and
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to maintain energy, focus and balance.
