We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Technician to support our organization’s IT operations. This role involves managing hardware inventory, overseeing user accounts and licenses, supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and serving as the primary point of contact for IT vendors. The ideal candidate will also take part in improving and standardizing IT practices across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain computer hardware inventory.
  • Handle user account setup and license management.
  • Oversee the IT aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to employees.
  • Be physically present at one of the company’s offices on a rotational basis.
  • Act as the primary contact for IT vendors and service providers.
  • Identify and implement improvements in the company’s IT environment.
  • Improvement Focus Areas:
  • Standardize computer hardware according to vendor, job role, and organizational needs.
  • Develop centralized control, management, and automation capabilities for all company computers.
  • Consolidate company systems under a single vendor to reduce redundancy.
  • Enhance cybersecurity measures for both devices and employees.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in IT support, including hardware, software, and user management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on process improvements.
  • Familiarity with IT inventory systems, user administration, and security best practices.
