The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join an AI team primarily supporting Group SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) in order to further develop and implement our Sustainability Trajectory Dashboard (STD) Tool. This innovative project uses agent-based modeling to optimize sustainability investments and accelerate progress toward our environmental targets.
Who You Are
We are looking for a passionate but experienced Data Scientist who is interested in applying their analytical and modelling skills to the field of policy planning in order to help our organization reach its sustainability goals. The importance of this work goes beyond crunching numbers and visualizing results, having a large impact on our efficiency, supporting our stakeholders, many of whom are deeply concerned for the future of the planet. Our ideal candidate not only has an aptitude for technical modelling but also an affinity for society and nature too.
You are enrolled in or have recently completed your Master’s studies (within the last 12 months) in Data Science or related fields, or possess comparable work experience. You have a background from a university and are a recent graduate (no more than 3 years). You are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment through an internship of at least 3 months, while gaining insights into the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore you are
Passion for Sustainability: Evident interest and enthusiasm for the sustainability topics, geopolitics, and economics
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large and complex datasets, evaluate problems from a business and technical perspective, and provide solutions with documentation and media to complement
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, especially on technical topics
Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Software development/Data science experience preferred
