The Opportunity

The security team at Observe is responsible for securing our application platform, cloud infrastructure, and IT systems and making them compliant with various standards and regulations to protect and enable Observe. Observe works is a high-tech space that solves customer experience using novel ways by implementing voice AI, assisting agents, and auto QA of customer integrations.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing a small to medium complex security project, process, or initiatives such as Automation, Penetration testing, Vulnerability assessment, Vulnerability management, and similar endeavours.
• Participating in the automation of tailored solutions for the advancement of the Posh mark Application Security Program
• Conduct thorough penetration testing on the applications and infrastructure utilised within the organization to ensure adequate security assessment.
• Triage security issues reported by bug bounty platforms
• Develop standards and guidelines for specific product security areas
• Develop or modify security reporting capabilities
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop remediation suggestions

What you bring to the role

• B Tech Computer Science/IT with coding experience
• Preferred: Specialisation in Cybersecurity/Network/Infrastructure
• Passionate about technology and security
• Good understanding of different security concepts and models in areas of product, Infra, network, and other security-related areas
• Strong coding and automation skills using Python, Java, etc.
• Well-versed in data structures, algorithms, and related computer science concepts
• A curious nature with a desire to tackle and solve complex problems
• Non-academic coding experience - Experience with Ethical hacking, participated in public bug bounty programs like BugCrowd/HackerOne or others
• Developing or contributing to open source security projects. Example - OWASP projects

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude
• Detail-oriented and expert in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders
• Strong business acumen with aptitude to apply it critically towards solving problems
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
