Imaging Maintenance Training and Readiness (IMTR) Representative Job Description:
IMTRs provide direct maintenance training support to maintainers on the waterfront at US Navy Submarine ports. IMTRs provide Dockside Differences Training (DDT) for all submarine platforms undergoing system modernizations, and provide Dockside Refresher Training (DRT), as well as support fleet requests for over-the-shoulder maintenance training.
The ideal candidate possesses detailed knowledge of submarine imaging systems as installed on all platforms, communicates effectively, and can interface with all levels of Navy submarine imaging maintenance infrastructure. This includes all levels of personnel from the Commanding Officer to the most junior maintainer, and extends to Navy Program Office, LM Program Office, Tenders, Squadrons, etc.
