The opportunity

We are looking for Human Resources Intern candidates, to join our Pune office, who are curious, self-motivated, and willing to learn. You will work closely with our Human Resources team and be exposed to a range of tasks and projects, including:

  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding: This involve posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and assisting with new hire paperwork.
  • Managing employee records: Maintaining employee files, updating personnel records, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Assisting with benefits administration: This may include enrolling employees in benefit programs, answering employee questions about benefits, and ensuring that all benefits-related documentation is filed correctly.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, as well as assisting with compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building events
  • Conducting research and analysis: Research best practices in HR or to analyse data related to employee turnover, engagement, or performance.
  • Supporting employee relations: Assisting with employee communications, addressing employee concerns or complaints, and providing support to managers in addressing employee performance issues.
  • Assisting with training and development: Assist to organize training sessions, track employee training records, and assist with the development of training materials.
  • Providing general administrative support: Assist with a variety of administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and filing paperwork. 

Overall, the HR Intern plays a critical role in supporting the HR department and ensuring that HR processes and procedures run smoothly. The position provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of HR and to develop a broad range of skills that are highly valued by employers.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of Human Resources principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer service mindset.
  • Knowledge of applicable labour laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems is a plus
