Join our dynamic Data Science and Analytics team as an Economics Analyst, where you’ll play an integral role in driving innovative projects and shaping the future of our business.

Whether they’re being made in the boardroom or the courtroom, good decisions rely on good evidence. Understanding what data to collect, how to analyse it, and how to draw out the relevant insights is vital to providing evidence that decision-makers can rely on.

Our team has extensive experience of providing data-led causal and predictive insights using methods from the fields of econometrics, statistics, data science, simulation and experimental design. Our multidisciplinary approach enables us to harness the best of these methods and apply our expertise in numerous sectors and geographies.

Your role in the Data Science and Analytics team

Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients to resolve complex issues based on the analysis of large and complex datasets

Conduct empirical and quantitative analysis in Excel, Stata, R and/or Python, with a focus on advanced methods in econometrics and machine learning

Write reports, presentations and articles, independently or in conjunction with others

We’re looking for:

An undergraduate degree (essential) and a postgraduate degree in a quantitative subject with a significant statistics component, with a minimum of 2:1 UK or its equivalent

A solid background in econometrics, machine learning and statistical programming (desirable)

Knowledge of programming languages such as Stata, R or Python

Problem-solving and analytical skills

A collaborative team player approach

Fluency in spoken and written English. An additional European language is desirable, and is a requirement for those based in offices other than Oxford, London or Brussels
