About the Role

We’re assembling a new R&D team to develop a wireless link between drones and base stations. As the FPGA Engineer, you will own the design and implementation of the signal processing pipeline on FPGA. You’ll work closely with a hardware engineer and an embedded software engineer to deliver a robust, high-performance system.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement FPGA-based digital signal processing blocks (e.g., OFDM modulation/demodulation, FFT, downsampling)

• Conduct detailed feasibility studies, simulations, and system-level analyses

• Develop testbenches, validate signal processing pipelines, and troubleshoot performance issues

• Collaborate closely with hardware and embedded teams to ensure smooth integration

• Drive development from prototyping to production, with a focus on robustness and low-latency performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in FPGA development (VHDL, Verilog)

• Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts

• Experience in developing and validating FPGA systems

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field

• Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges.

• Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
