Position Overview:

As a Financial and Accounting Analyst Specialist at Rocket Code, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to enhance our financial operations and strategic positioning. Your role will involve collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will use your financial expertise to support decision-making processes and help drive our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support for project evaluations.
• Assist in the audit process as required and implement best practices for financial reporting.
• Identify and recommend improvements in financial processes and systems.
• Support the finance team in various projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial analysis tools).
• Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
