Position Overview

We are looking for a Construction Manager to oversee the end-to-end process of deploying Radar complexes (Traffic violation detection) and CCTV cameras within Smart City projects. This role involves everything from site scouting and permitting to design coordination, construction oversight, equipment installation, and commissioning

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suitable land plots or buildings for Radar complexes (Traffic violation detection) and CCTV cameras installation.
• Obtain all necessary permits, approvals, and documentation from local authorities.
• Collaborate on the development of design documentation and layout plans.
• Prepare and manage cost estimates and construction budgets.
• Identify and select suppliers and subcontractors; participate in procurement and bidding processes.
• Oversee and coordinate construction and installation work on-site.
• Manage the delivery and installation of technical equipment at the site.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Organize project handover, prepare documentation for commissioning, and interact with regulatory bodies.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.

Qualifications

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of the construction lifecycle from design through commissioning.
• Experience with infrastructure projects involving engineering or IT components.
• Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and utility connection standards.
• Ability to work with public authorities, suppliers, and contractors effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of construction regulations, norms (e.g., local building codes, safety standards).
• Certifications in construction or project management (PMP, CCM, etc.) are a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel; experience with GIS tools is an advantage.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role (Construction Manager, Site Manager, Project Engineer, etc.).
• Proven track record in managing infrastructure or public space projects, ideally involving IT systems.
• Experience with full project delivery, including commissioning and handover

Skills:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of construction phases, cost planning, logistics, and site supervision.
• Ability to read blueprints, create schedules, and track project progress.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
