We are seeking a talented Applied Scientist - Generative AI to lead AI-driven innovation and automation across various commercial processes. You will apply cutting-edge generative AI models and machine learning techniques to solve complex challenges, from pricing predictions to automating bid responses, and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse AI use cases, with flexibility to expand as new business needs arise.

You will work closely with the CNS CTO and cross-functional teams to provide thought leadership in automation and AI transformation, ensuring scalability, efficiency and optimized decision-making across the business.

  • Contribute to the digital and analytics strategy for CNS Commercial Management, shaping how we leverage AI and advanced analytics to drive innovation and build solutions that align with our long-term strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the CNS CTO organization to bring thought leadership in enabling automation for existing commercial processes, aligning AI-driven solutions with technology roadmaps.
  • Work closely with teams from various disciplines, including sales, technical, and commercial teams, to ensure AI solutions are impactful and user-friendly across CNS and other BGs
  • Design, implement, and optimize generative AI models across a wide range of business processes, including price prediction, bid response automation and more.
  • Integrate generative AI models into applications, ensuring seamless interaction between the AI components and users interfaces.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify new opportunities for AI applications in commercial operations, expanding the scope of AI projects as needed.
  • Lead efforts to scale AI applications across different parts of the business, ensuring solutions are robust and adaptable to future needs.
  • Collaborate across Nokia BGs and AI expert communities: best practices design patterns and knowledge sharing company-wide
     
  • Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent job experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field with 5 to 10 years of experience, including AI/ML, GenAI, NLP, prompt engineering
  • Strong proficiency in generative AI, deep learning architectures (e.g., large neural network models, LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, GenAI frameworks and prompt engineering.
  • Proficiency in data extraction, analysis and visualization tools, along with experience in applying data science methods to large datasets to improve AI model performance.
  • Passion for exploring new AI technologies and applying them to solve diverse business challenges.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with commercial and technical teams, and a willingness to mentor colleagues in the latest AI/ML advancements.
  • Creative approach to challenges with a focus on delivering innovative, AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for presenting results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
