Overview

Coder Trove is seeking an experienced AI Technology Consultant to work with our customers during the critical discovery and setup phase of their AI and automation journey. In this role, you will assess the customers current systems, business needs, and goals, and create a strategic roadmap to unlock the potential of AI in their operations. Your work will lay the groundwork for a technical team to execute and scale solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Discovery & Scoping
  • Conduct in-depth onsite or virtual discovery sessions with customers who have signed agreements for the initial setup stage.
  • Assess the customers existing systems, tools, workflows, and data infrastructure.
  • Identify key opportunities and challenges for implementing AI/automation solutions in their business.
• Solution Design & Planning
  • Map out high-level solutions, including the development of custom Large Language Models (LLMs) and the application of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, tailored to the customers needs.
  • Define initial project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for AI technologies and tools to achieve business goals.
• Collaboration with Technical Teams
  • Document findings, high-level solution designs, and project details for seamless handoff to development teams.
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and QA specialists to ensure a smooth transition and project continuity.
  • Offer technical insights during the early phases of project execution if needed.
• Customer Engagement & Advisory
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the early stages of AI implementation.
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with realistic budgets and timelines.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is accessible and actionable for business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an AI/ML consultant, solution architect, or related role.
• Expertise in current and trending AI technologies in Australian businesses, including:
  • Popular AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and OpenAI.
  • NLP techniques and tools, including tokenization, entity recognition, and text classification.
  • Experience with deploying and customising LLMs for business-specific applications.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and integrating AI into existing systems.
• Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Excellent ability to map out high-level technical solutions and provide guidance for implementation.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and development processes.

Preferred Profile

• A small business or sole practitioner offering consulting services to become a partner.
• Contractor with availability for ad hoc project-based engagements, ranging from short-term discovery to medium-term setup phases.
• Must be based in Australia, with flexibility to travel to customer sites when required.
