As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models, as well as integrating AI technologies into various internal applications and into our existing software products. Your work will help to automate tasks, improve decision-making and drive innovation in automotive engineering, simulation, validation and testing systems.  
 
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Develop AI models and algorithms: Design, build, and train machine learning models to solve specific problems. This may include supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning, and deep learning models
Design and implement agents using frameworks like Semantic.Kernel or LangChain
Model optimization: Tune and optimize machine learning models for efficiency, performance, and scalability
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to integrate AI models into product solutions and applications
Testing and validation: Ensure that AI models are robust, accurate, and scalable by performing rigorous testing and validation
Deployment: Deploy AI models into product environments, ensuring seamless integration and monitoring. Also, deployment into internal product development process
Problem-solving: Use AI tools and techniques to solve business-specific problems, such as automation, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, etc.

 
YOUR PROFILE:
 

Completed education (University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences or comparable) with a focus on AI, computer science, software development or a related field
At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of AI, Machine Learning Algorithms
Proficiency in one or more common programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, C++, C) – Python & C# are preferred
Familiarity with deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc.) and natural language processing (NLP, especially LLMs)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Workflows, Microsoft Azure DevOps)
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods
Knowledge of database systems and SQL for handling large datasets
Business fluent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German is an advantage

The employment is provided by a personnel service provider.
Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €53,500.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
