Job Description
DCAI Business Unit: Contribute to the DCAI organization, delivering leading Xeon products with x86 core and unique IPs for enhanced performance in Xeon and AI platforms.
Domain Leadership: Lead post-silicon validation for Xeon and Node (Xeon+GPU) in the Data Center market as part of the AISV India team.
Product Delivery: Join a team experienced in delivering Xeon products from pre-silicon to post-silicon, now expanding to AI market products like AI node validation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Domain Expertise and Collaboration: Develop a deep understanding of Intel's Xeon products and Nodes with Xeon + GPU, collaborating with architects, RTL designers, and firmware teams to ensure a thorough understanding of system requirements and features.
Validation and Testing: Develop post-silicon system validation test plans, implement directed and random test cases, drive functional coverage closure, and identify coverage gaps. Use internal AI tools for test plan generation and review and integrate AI workflows into daily tasks.
Configuration and Design: Contribute to system/board design, BOM preparation, and define hardware/software configurations to meet customer needs. Prepare and track requirements with stakeholders and develop automation for test execution.
Execution and Reporting: Plan and execute tests, debug failures, analyze results, and modify test code/tools. Report status regularly, attend project meetings, and collaborate with firmware teams for test plans and debugging. Provide technical mentorship and participate in reviews.
Educational and Experience Requirements: Possess a master's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 12+ years in the related field.
Technical Skills: Experience in processor post-silicon validation, proficiency in Python and C/C++ for test code and automation scripting, and strong system hardware and software debug skills.
Knowledge and Understanding: Solid understanding of computer architecture, microarchitecture, OS concepts, and the interaction between hardware and software. Experience with pre-silicon platforms like emulators and virtual prototypes.
Additional Skills and Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, communication, and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of x86, AI/ML accelerators, or data center SoC validation is a plus.
Work Model for this Role
