Position Summary
• As a Linguist, you will be working on different tasks such as create sentences for Filipino, Tagalog & English, sentence translation from and to English, developing syntactic rules, adding inflections, analyzing word groups, adapting from formal into informal language and translating specific terms.
• Idiomatic fluency in Filipino, Tagalog & English.
• Extensive knowledge of the language use (both formal and informal, colloquial language).
Role and Responsibilities
- Undergraduate linguistics degree with good knowledge of the morphology, grammar, syntax and colloquialisms of Filipino, Tagalog & English.
- Managing an end-to-end recording process with an appropriate approach toward the talents to ensure that each project results in clean and high-quality audio.
- Create sentences
- Data collection : voice and text (dalam bahasa Filipino, Tagalog)
- Record your own voice using an Android cellphone (your own cellphone), using the text provided, consisting of +/- 120 sentences, then edit it.
Skills and Qualifications
- Min Bachelor degrees in Filipino, Tagalog & English linguistics or any related Master degrees from reputable universities will be point plus
- At least 1 years of experience on Filipino, Tagalog & English Linguistics.
- Fluent in Filipino, Tagalog and English (spoken and written).
- TOEFL 520 minimum or equivalent
- Experienced in recording and editing
- Ability to communicate effectively and build partnerships with voice over and other engineers/teams
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Able to manage multiple, competing tasks and be self-directed in a quickly evolving environment
- Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback
- WFO Full.
- Contract until End of Year 2025
