The AI Chatbot & Automation Specialist (Legal Focus) is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven chatbot solutions within the M365 ecosystem to enhance legal service delivery and automation. This role will leverage Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI services, and large language models (LLMs) while integrating with ServiceNow to support job estimation, document retrieval of Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service case management, and workflow automation.

The ideal candidate will work closely with legal operations, IT teams, and business stakeholders to streamline processes, improve compliance, and enhance user experience through AI-driven solutions. This role requires expertise in AI chatbot development, workflow automation, and integration of intelligent assistants into legal and business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Chatbot Development & Deployment:

  • Develop and deploy AI chatbots within Microsoft Teams and M365 to automate legal service delivery.
  • Integrate chatbots with ServiceNow to enable case management, workflow automation, and self-service support.
  • Implement AI-powered document retrieval for QRGs, SOPs, and legal templates.
  • Enable chatbot-driven job estimation and resource allocation for legal services.

AI-Powered Document Automation & Validation:

  • Design AI-driven automation workflows for document intake, validation, and compliance checks.
  • Implement structured AI-powered validation layers for legal compliance, including pagination, formatting, and metadata adherence.
  • Leverage LLMs to enhance AI-based document intelligence and review automation.

ServiceNow & Workflow Integration:

  • Automate case creation, tracking, and escalation using AI-driven chatbots in ServiceNow.
  • Develop AI-driven automation for recurring tasks and approvals within legal operations.
  • Ensure seamless chatbot integration with ServiceNow workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor chatbot and automation performance, optimizing for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Analyze AI-driven recommendations and improve automation models based on real-world data.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of AI-driven automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Apps).
    • Proficiency in AI/ML technologies, NLP models, and LLMs (Azure AI, OpenAI, or equivalent).
    • Experience with ServiceNow integration for chatbot automation and case management.
    • Knowledge of legal document processing, automation, and compliance validation.
    • Familiarity with API integrations for AI-driven workflow automation.
  • Business & Process Knowledge:
    • Experience in legal technology solutions, SOP standardization, and compliance frameworks.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal operations, and compliance stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication skills to translate complex AI automation processes into actionable business insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Power Platform, Azure AI, or AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience with legal service automation, document validation, and workflow optimization.
  • Background in legal operations or knowledge management within a law firm or corporate legal department.

This role provides an opportunity to lead AI-driven innovation in legal document processing, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance through intelligent automation and chatbot solutions.

The Compensation range for this role is 82,331.10 - 164,662.80 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
