Job Summary:
As a Sales Engineer at webAI, your primary goal will be to support sales, prospects, and customers as an engineering resource knowledgeable in the function and application of our technology. You’ll leverage your technical expertise and customer-oriented skills to support the sales process, ensuring our solutions align with client needs. This role combines in-depth product knowledge with strong interpersonal and presentation skills to deliver an outstanding client experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & Support:
● Serve as the technical expert on product functionality, performance, and implementation.
● Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure up-to-date knowledge of all products and services.
● Conduct technical demos and provide product training to prospective and current customers.
Sales Collaboration:
● Partner with sales teams to identify customer needs, understand technical requirements, and position appropriate solutions.
● Develop and deliver customized presentations and proposals that address specific customer needs.
● Assist in crafting RFP/RFI responses, technical documentation, and customer use cases.
Customer Engagement:
● Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing technical support and acting as a point of contact for technical inquiries.
● Gather and communicate client feedback to inform product development and improve customer experience.
Solution Design & Implementation:
● Work closely with clients to analyze business and technical requirements, tailoring solutions to fit unique client needs.
● Participate in on-site visits and installation support as needed to ensure smooth deployment of products.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
● 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the AI, software, or technology industry.
● Strong technical background with a solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and software development concepts.
● Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Excellent presentation skills and confidence in delivering compelling demonstrations
● Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with customers and collaborating effectively across internal teams.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address customer needs and overcome obstacles.
● Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certifications relevant to the industry (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
● Experience using CRM software (e.g.,HubSpot) and familiarity with sales processes.
● Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
