You will be a member of the NI RBC “Regional Engineering Delivery and Automation” team, in Nokia. He/she will be working together with product experts & solution architects to implement end to end use-cases related with automation of network integration, testing, verification activities as well as LLM (Large Language Based) assistant type of applications & NPI related automation projects. Services, applications, features and artifacts developed by our team are used worldwide by the telecom operator customers of Nokia and internally by the Nokia experts.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will:

  • Contribute development of AI powered automation tools and assistants and other AI / LLM based projects in future.
  • Develop network testing oriented automation tools/use-cases, analytics related with automation features and usage.
  • Hands-on coding for big data processing, machine learning including prediction/clustering problems and robotics process automation
  • Perform & contribute full-stack development activities related to tools developed in-house
  • Design and develop of Python scripts to support various automation needs
  • Automate recurrent testing, analysis & visualization tasks that will be further used by hundreds of care engineers worldwide

You have:

  • BSc degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Both senior/experienced engineers and talented new graduates are welcome to apply. Seniority of the candidate will be taken into account in the offer.
  • Good programming skills and experience with Python.
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models, ChatGPT, Open Source LLM Models (ex: LLama 2, Llama 3, Mistral, Mixtral …), Generative AI, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
  • Knowledge of web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js) is a plus.

It would be nice if you also have:

  • Familiarity with LangChain for integrating LLMs with applications.
  • Proficiency in running open source LLM models locally using frameworks such as llama.cpp and ollama.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AI systems for performance and scalability.
  • Vector Databases like Qdrant, FAISS, Chroma
  • Modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • AI/ML: Implementing deep learning models using open source frameworks such as Keras andTensor Flow, etc.
  • Consuming enterprise web-services, REST, JSON/XML, Netconf and expose own services to help design the next generation of back-end APIs and functionality. 
  • Experience with source version control systems like SVN, Git 
  • Linux operating system knowledge
  • Automation frameworks / tools experience like (Robot Framework, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere etc.)
  • Implementing end-to-end container management with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge or experience in Nokia IP / Optics or Fixed Networks products
