Employee Experience and Office Specialist

In this role, you will be focused on designing and improving the employee experience aligned with our company culture and operating principles, leading US and global projects, and implementing new ideas that achieve our strategic people objectives and culture. You will also support the local office needs, ordering supplies, working with local vendors, preparing for new employees, and working with the local employees and management to support them as an HR professional providing best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee everyday operations of the office including ordering supplies, lunches, snacks, maintaining necessary services and more
  • Identify office related needs, surface solutions and provide recommendations
  • Create, facilitate, and manage an employee experience program across the US working together with the rest of the HR team in the US and abroad
  • Improve employee experience through onboarding, talent management, creating culture and implementing values in employees’ everyday life
  • Coordinate and prepare for office events, team meetings and executive meetings for employees and visitors
  • Own HR projects that are cross-functional and global working with stakeholders within the HR team and throughout the company
  • Drive and support the US recruitment process, posting positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, moving candidates through the process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Work with the Marketing Team on HR and Employer Branding opportunities and initiatives

Job Requirements

  • BA degree (or equivalent) required from an accredited university
  • 3+ years experience in a startup environment, as an Office Admin or HR professional
  • Experience in a growing startup environment with little existing office management infrastructure
  • Very comfortable with a fast-paced, high-demand, always-evolving environment
  • A track record of both designing and implementing effective processes
  • Experience driving people programs and initiatives
  • Focusing on the details, but always mindful of the big picture
  • Exercising good judgment when handling sensitive situations
  • Experience supporting a strong company culture through programs and events
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and organizational skills; strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong desire to learn, and grow, with the ability to take on new tasks and work independently
