The Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity leads Torc's information security strategy and operations. This role is responsible for protecting Torc’s digital assets, managing security risks, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. The Director of Enterprise Cybersecurity is hands-on, using technical expertise and strong leadership skills to drive Torc’s security program forward.
What you'll be doing:
- Accountable and responsible for career development and coaching of the team
- Accountable and responsible for performance management of the team
- Accountable and responsible for ensuring continuous performance feedback is delivered and compensation analysis in close collaboration with peer managers and People Operations
- Develop and lead execution of a multi-year cybersecurity strategy with annual objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture for our IT ecosystem, ensuring alignment with industry standards and business objectives
- Lead conduct, with a cross-functional team, of a thorough threat analysis and risk assessments for existing and new infrastructure and capabilities, identify potential vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies; and continuously update our security strategies and solutions accordingly
- Oversee and evaluate the implementation of security controls, including but not limited to identity and access management, vulnerability management, detection and response, and training
- Provide expert guidance to cybersecurity team members, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization
- Liaise with external security vendors and partners, managing relationships and ensuring the effective integration of third-party security solutions
- Prepare and present reports on security architecture, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior management and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry, regulatory, and organizational cybersecurity standards and policies
- Participate in and support incident response and forensic activities in the event of a security breach
- Represent Torc at external standards and industry bodies and communicate our cybersecurity approach.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field or work experience equivalent to a Master’s degree.
- Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a role leading cybersecurity programs
- Ability to be a strategic partner to the organization and identify & plan how to meet future needs of the organization
- Expert knowledge and demonstrated leader of functional area or department; acts as an advisor to leaders on relevant trends and emerging issues
- Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals and identify opportunities to grow and develop the team
- Strong understanding of identity and access management, vulnerability management, and GRC
- Proficient in security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST CSF)

Hiring Range for Job Opening US Pay Range
