ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Product Strategist at Mindfuel, your mission is to establish the strategic groundwork essential for developing successful data products. You'll operate at the senior management level with our clients, shaping data product strategies that maximize business value and drive organizational transformation toward becoming data-driven.
You will define clear visions, strategic roadmaps, robust business cases, and effective organizational structures tailored explicitly for data product management. Your expertise ensures our clients align business objectives, data capabilities, and product strategy seamlessly. This role uniquely combines strategic thinking, deep understanding of data ecosystems, senior stakeholder alignment, and entrepreneurial drive to build the foundations upon which impactful and sustainable data products thrive.



What will be your responsibility

  • Defining overarching data product strategies, including vision, mission, and strategic positioning to maximize market impact
  • Create strategies to enable our clients to leverage their data to the fullest (e.g. organizational development, operating model, processes)
  • Define winning project setups to deliver the product, including product roadmaps and implementation plans, team sizing and role definitions
  • Perform interviews and workshops with various stakeholders from top management to data scientists or with the clients of our clients to get everyone on the same page
  • Preparing compelling strategic narratives, presentations, and analyses for C-suite and senior management audiences
  • Visualize and convincingly present your strategies, concepts and analysis results to various audiences across all company levels


What you'll need

  • 3+ years of professional work experienceat the interplay of data, strategy, consultancy and/or entrepreneurship, e.g.
    • in a leading tech or strategy consultancy (ideally with focus on technology/data/digital)
    • as a (Digital) Product Manager
    • in (tech or data) start-ups
  • (Technical) higher education: B.Sc. /M.Sc. in computer science, business administration, engineering, or related fields with strong academic performance
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking with proven ability to structure complex issues, identify problems and derive strategic solutions
  • Strong consulting skills and proficiency with the consulting toolbox to amaze our clients with amazing storylines and sharp analyses (creative and hypothesis-led problem solving, framing and communicating complex ideas, thinking strategically)
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in German and in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Clear understanding of data and AI as well as its advantages and limitations
