This role sits within the Science and Technology team and will report into the Head of Communications for Science and Technology. This role will work closely with the business segments and regions.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Internal Communications: In this role, you will help elevate GE HealthCare’s AI and digital strategy for all colleagues. This will include thinking creatively about ways to engage our colleagues, developing internal posts, coordinating town halls for the Science and Technology organization, and more.

  • External Communications: We always have a lot going on across the business! You will lead the creation of communication materials for business announcements and press releases, including related artifacts like social posts and talking points.

  • Translate the technical into the relatable: You will get deep on the technical details of our solutions, and the AI and cloud technology that makes them tick—and translate those concepts into a story that will resonate with the audience.

  • Media Strategy: The right candidate will have direct media relations experience and reporter relationships and understand how to craft a media strategy that will have maximum impact.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: The candidate will be a “bridge builder” experienced in working in a large, matrixed organization. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders across various teams including marketing, business teams, and across the communications team.

  • Performance Monitoring: You will help track and analyze communication efforts using KPIs and data insights to refine strategies and improve future campaigns.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10+ years' experience working in PR and/or Communications (or High School Diploma with 14+ years' experience in PR and/or Communications).

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • Direct experience working with the press.

  • Internal communications experience.

  • Demonstrated success working quickly and leading multiple projects/initiatives within communications / PR function.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $126,480.00-$189,720.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
