About you and this role

We are looking for you, an ambitious Bachelor or Master student, to support our HR department by doing an internship project in Artificial Intelligence for HR for our location in Terneuzen, the Netherlands.

Project description:

Within the Artificial Intelligence for HR project, you will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance and streamline HR processes, improving efficiency and employee experience. The ideal candidate has a background in AI technologies and a passion for applying these skills within the HR domain.

During this internship, you will connect with various country focal points and Regional Subject Matter experts to see how you can develop and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, document creation, allowance calculations, etc.

Responsibilities Includes

  • Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, document creation, etc.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to integrate AI technologies into existing HR systems and platforms.
  • Connect and collaborate with country, regional and global focal points
  • Design and deploy AI models to automate routine HR tasks, improving accuracy and reducing manual workload.
  • Stay updated with the latest AI trends and technologies and evaluate their potential application within the HR function.
  • Provide training and support to HR team members on the use of AI tools and technologies.

Must have Qualifications

  • You are currently studying for a bachelor/master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science
  • You have experience with AI services (Copilot is an advantage)
  • You have advanced MS Office knowledge
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, and data analytics
  • You have a good working knowledge of English. Another European language (e.g. French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, German) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations related to HR data is an advantage

  • You are well organized, proactive and have good project management / planning skills
  • You are always looking for ways to improve and strive for better
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
