Job Description
Applicants shall have 1-2 years of experience in the relevant Aerospace domain. You will be part of the airframe structures team and will be deeply involved in everything from preliminary concept work, to the actual production. For this role, you need to have a strong understanding of CAD design and the ability to do hand calculations to create detailed models. Further, you will work closely with multiple disciplines including structural analysis, manufacturing and integration team.
Responsibilities
1. Create 3D CAD model, Prepare 2D drawings and generate BOM.
2. Perform detailed design and assembly integration of aircraft subsystems.3. Perform engineering work related to configuring, maintaining and upgrading CAD models.4. Apply DFM concepts to create designs that are cost effective and easy to fabricate.
5. Support manufacturing team to validate and verify that the designs meet requirements and specifications.
6. Detail design and fabrication instruction writing.
7. Direct communication with vendors and technicians in the manufacturing and assembly process.

Technical Skills

1. Knowledge in CAD software's (Solid works, CATIA) 2. Basic Knowledge in GD&T module (preferred)3. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.4. Knowledge in 3D printing process and selection of materials.5. Familiarity with PDM systems.
6. Experience with the manufacturing of composite parts and tooling design.
7. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Preferred QualificationsB.Tech/ B.E in Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering.
