We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Technical Recruiter to join our small, but mighty, People team. This role is crucial for our growth, blending full-cycle technical recruiting for our most critical engineering roles with essential HR Operations functions. What You'll Do: Technical Recruiting (Approx. 70%)

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own and manage the entire recruiting process for a variety of highly specialized technical roles, including but not limited to: Perception Engineers, Deep Learning Engineers, Software Engineers (C++/Python), and related technical staff.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive candidates, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and industry-specific networks.

  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing market intelligence, coaching on interviewing best practices, and driving the interview process to ensure an exceptional and efficient candidate experience.

  • Candidate Experience: Ensure all candidates have a positive and engaging experience, managing communications, scheduling, and administering technical assessments.

  • Offer Negotiation: Guide candidates through the final stages of the process, including compensation negotiation and closing top technical talent.

What You'll Do: HR Operations Support (Approx. 30%)

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the new hire onboarding process, including background checks, I-9 verification, new hire paperwork, and system setup. Manage all offboarding logistics, ensuring a smooth process.

  • HRIS Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee data in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

  • Benefits & Payroll Support: Act as the initial point of contact for basic employee questions regarding benefits, PTO, and HR policies. Assist the People team with basic payroll documentation and benefits administration tasks (e.g., enrollment support).

  • Policy & Compliance: Support the maintenance and communication of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Employee Support: Provide excellent customer service and administrative support to employees on various HR-related inquiries.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within the automotive, AI, Computer Vision, or high-growth tech industry.

  • Proven experience sourcing and closing hard-to-find, niche technical roles (e.g., Deep Learning, Robotics, Embedded Systems).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of core HR administrative tasks (onboarding, HRIS data management, basic benefits/payroll).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional yet authentic approach.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
