As an Accounting Analyst Jr, you will be responsible for supporting our finance and accounting functions, with a specialized focus on managing accounts payable, meticulously overseeing bills registration, and ensuring the seamless execution of accounting closing procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced startup environment and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing
• Register bills accurately in the accounting system and ensure proper coding and documentation
• Assist in month-end and year-end accounting closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data
• Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
• Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate or advanced student in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment (internship experience may be considered)
• Advanced English, both written and verbal
• Experience with accounts payable processes, bills registration, and accounting closing procedures is highly desirable - Nice to have experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with Google Sheets and financial software (experience with Xero or other accounting software is a plus)
